LANIGAN SNARES POINT LEAD AFTER STRONG NORTHEAST SWING!

AUGUST 24, 2010 --- Union, Kentucky native Darrell Lanigan wrapped up a weeklong swing through the Northeast tonight with a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdown at the Brewerton Speedway in Brewerton, New York. DARRELL LANIGAN COMPETES IN NORTH/SOUTH 100

AUGUST 16, 2010 --- The Lanigan Autosports, Inc. team traveled down the road to the nearby Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Friday and Saturday, August 13-14 for the annual running of the 'North/South 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the crown jewel event, which boasted a hefty $50,000 payday. Darrell Lanigan timed in eighteenth fastest in his group during qualifying on Friday night, but was unfortunately involved in an early heat race incident on Saturday evening. After fighting back to a sixth place heat race effort, Darrell finished one spot out of a coveted transfer position in his B-Main and did not compete in the 100-lap main event. LANIGAN BUSY IN BADGER STATE OF WISCONSIN!

AUGUST 8, 2010 --- Darrell Lanigan and his #29 team, fresh off a dominating Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek, traveled north to the Badger State of Wisconsin for three separate racing programs from August 4-7. Up first was a trip to the Shawano Speedway in Shawano, Wisconsin on Wednesday night for a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdown. Darrell timed in fourth quickest in WOOLMS qualifying and later ran third in heat race action. After starting twelfth in the 50-lap main event at Shawano, Darrell moved past four competitors en route to a solid eighth place performance.

The competition quickly turned to the legendary Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the 'USA Nationals' weekend. On Thursday night, an unsanctioned $5,000 to win tune-up race was held at CLS. Darrell qualified tenth fastest and later won his competitive heat race to earn the third starting position in the 40-lap feature event. In a very fast-paced race, the Union, Kentucky native wound up third in the final rundown behind winner Tim McCreadie and runner-up Josh Richards.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series returned to life over the weekend at Cedar Lake to sanction the 23rd Annual 'USA Nationals.' Darrell laid down the ninth fastest lap during time trials on Friday night and later won both his heat race and the dash to earn the pole position for Saturday's $50,000 to win crown jewel event. After leading lap one and laps 20-31, Darrell was running in the third spot on lap 75 when terminal engine problems unfortunately relegated him to an eleventh place effort in the attrition-filled race. DARRELL DOMINATES OHIO-PENNSYLVANIA SPEEDWEEK!

AUGUST 1, 2010 --- The Lanigan Autosports, Inc. team wrapped up the Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series tonight at the Eriez Speedway in Hammett, Pennsylvania. Darrell Lanigan, who has ran extremely well all week, timed in sixth fastest in qualifying and later won his stacked heat race. After redrawing the sixth starting spot prior to the $10,000 to win main event, Darrell drove past three competitors in the 50-lapper to score a solid third place performance behind only winner Josh Richards and runner-up Ron Davies. JULY 27, 2010 --- Darrell Lanigan and his #29 Lanigan Autosports, Inc. team kicked off the Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series in grand fashion tonight at the Central Pennsylvania Speedway in Clearfield, Pennsylvania! Darrell timed in second fastest in WOOLMS qualifying and later won his stacked heat race. After drawing the third starting spot in the $8,000 to win main event, Darrell grabbed the top spot from Chub Frank on the sixth circuit and never looked back.
